I didn't know what to say so I just smiled and we kept walking. Then he said, "Are you mad at me?"
"No," I replied. But really it was weird for me that my entire life experience might have been a lie. And then...he died right there on the trail. It took us 6 hours to get him down the mountain in a makeshift stretcher we made out of sticks and jackets and stuff. It was exhausting but also very rewarding because it felt like we were doing something important for once in our lives.

By episode 2 i knew i hated it but didn't want to tell her because she seemed so happy watching it and i didn't want to disappoint her or make her angry by not sharing in her joy of watching this show that i hated more than any other thing ever created by mankind except maybe all four seasons of HBO's Big Love which is also a show about Mormons but has twice as many episodes as GG which makes each episode feel twice as long as GG even though they are exactly the same length because GG is too lazy even for its own format standards so if someone tells me GG is better than BH then they clearly do not understand TV shows or math or both
