i know one collector who in over thirty years has never been to a coin show or purchased a coin. His entire collection has come to him as payment or change from a purchase. He’s found some double-strikes, lots of junk silver, a fair number of foreign coins, etc. etc. Always take a look at your pocket change. There are treasures hiding there.
