What would a cost effective robot do for a senior?
1. Basically have an iPad on a stick or possibly a laptop
2. Auto docking for power
3. Multiple cameras that a caregiver can log into
4. Voice commands to make video calls and phone calls, turn on tv sets
5. Amplified sound system for phone and communication
7. Ability for remote control so that someone could drive or log in
8. Have a series of baskets for things like glasses, flashlights, mail
9. flat tray for food and drink for when the user wants to sit at a table instead of carrying things
10. Be able to navigate the home like a roomba
11. Connect to built-in infrared controllers so that it can act as a remote control
12. Have a pointing system of some kind where the user can use a touchscreen or mouse to indicate where the robot should pay attention
