Entrepreneurship is freedom. I don't believe in it.
I've seen employees, executives, solopreneurs, and great entrepreneurs crushed by the business machine.
Freedom comes with intention.
1. What does success mean to me?
We often chase the quest of others. Taking a moment to define your grid allows you to climb the right wall. Am I looking for more time, relationships, power, money...
2. Am I doing something I love?
What energizes me? What exhausts me? Once found, accelerate what energizes you and delegate, exchange, or outsource what drains you.
3. Work in the right environment.
Am I attracting the right customers?
Am I working in the right company? Do I like the culture?
4. Create your own constraints.
Work fills the void. Don't limit it, and it becomes your only activity.
If success means enjoying your friends, family and having time for your passions, constraints are necessary.
-I don't work before “X.”
-I don't work after “X”
-I don't work on weekends and vacations.
