A list that's probably of no interest to anyone but me.
I studied classical saxophone in college and I performed all these pieces at some point.
There's some excellent music out there for classical saxophone that no one ever hears because, unfortunately, no one ever listens to this music except for saxophonists.
1. Concerto in E flat Major for Alto Saxophone and String Orchestra, Op. 109, Alexander Glazunov (1934).
2. Tableaux de Provence, Paule Maurice (1955).
3. Sonata, Opus 19, Paul Creston (1939).
4. Concertino da Camera, Jacques Ibert (1935).
5. Fantasia for Soprano Saxophone, Heitor Villa-Lobos (1948).
6. Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Orchestra, Opus 26, Paul Creston (1966).
7. Scaramouche, Darius Milhaud (1937).
8. Aria for Alto Saxophone and Piano, Eugene Bozza (1936).
9. Sequenza VII for Soprano Saxophone, Luciano Berio (1993).
10. Sonata for Alo Saxophone and Piano, David Maslanka (1988).
