Every Financial crisis is different.

I thought (naively) that after experiencing my first strong investor crisis in 2020 during COVID. I had become immune and would be able to get through all the following ones calmly.

This is not true.

Every crisis is scary. Every crisis makes you sick to your stomach. Every crisis is different in itself and in relation to your situation.

    1. 2020 Covid

    • Intense but short (outside)
    • Does not depend on my investment to live (me)

    2. 2022 Inflation &....

    • Could be structural and long (outside)
    • Depends on my investments to live (me)

    3. But they still have some points in common. 😀

I have no idea what will happen (outside), and I have total control over how I react (inside).

    4. What have I done so far?

In both cases, I was lucky to have a healthy cash situation. So I invested heavily.

    5. What will happen in the short term?

    I don't know.

But I believe in one principle. In the long term, the market will progress and strengthen my financial independence.

The book that has convinced me is the Simple Path to Wealth: by JL Collins.

    6. Emotions play an important role in our lives. Learn to master them and gain your financial freedom.
