Go Deeper. (2 min 3 sec)

    1. There's Always Aother Layer To Uncover.

Beneath the surface of any experience, belief, or thought, there's a deeper truth waiting to be revealed. This is particularly relevant in spiritual teachings like ACIM, where we're invited to look beyond appearances, initial interpretations, or ego-driven understandings.
Life, in many ways, is like peeling an onion. At each layer, you encounter something new — sometimes it's tears, other times clarity. But no matter how much you think you understand, there's always more. Our ego often stops us at the first few layers, making us believe we've "got it," but the deeper truths, the ones that challenge the very foundation of how we see the world, are hidden further down.
The layers are often beliefs we've held about ourselves, others, and the world. For example, we might think we understand forgiveness as letting go of resentment, but deeper down, forgiveness is recognizing that nothing real has been harmed because the world itself is an illusion. The layers of perception — what we see, what we believe, what we think we know — are merely constructs. As we continue to peel them away, we get closer to the core of truth which is the recognition of our oneness with God.
Each layer that we uncover brings us closer to the realization that the "problem" isn't out there, but rather within our own mind — it's the lens we’re using to see the world. And once we acknowledge this, we can begin to dismantle the false self (the ego) and allow the truth (our true identity as Spirit) to emerge. The process of uncovering never truly ends because the mind has constructed so many layers over time that even when you think you've reached a deep understanding, there's always a new perspective or a hidden belief to challenge.
In short, there's a never-ending journey of self-discovery, where each revelation only opens the door to the next. The deeper you go, the closer you get to truth, and yet, truth itself is infinite.
And just when you think you've peeled back the final layer, realizing that you're closer to the truth than ever before — guess what? There’s another layer waiting. That feeling of "arrival" is the ego's last-ditch effort to keep you comfortable, to make you think the journey's over. But the real revelation? The journey itself is the destination. So, as you stand there, thinking you’ve reached the core, ask yourself: What if this isn’t the end, but just another beginning?
