Great Reasons to Write a Book

1. Who it makes of me to write it.

2. It has the tremendous possibility of helping at least ONE person.

3. The time will pass anyways. This will be something to show for it.

4. It lives beyond us. It can be a “legacy.”

5. Grandkids and great grandkids will read it and know me better. But my children won’t be bothered to read it!

6. Possibility of direct income. Book sales.

7. Possibility of indirect income. Speaking. Courses sold. Business opportunities.

8. Reason to talk with really cool people while promoting. James Altucher, JP Sears, Jim Shiels.

9. The broader influence. It can help the children and friends of people who have read and practice what I’m putting into the book.

10. I will know the subject so much better myself. I am now an expert on this, legitimately.

11. My loved ones (including myself) will be proud of me.

12. Sell courses to REALLY help impact someone, The book is a gateway to real learning and behavior change.

DO IT! I've already done one and am neck deep into book #2. James has a lot of this out there to help, and Tucker Max has a free course on how to do it at https://bookschool.scribemedia.com/

Oh that's cool! Where do you sell it? Actually I am interested but I am not sure if I can make a book lol. I think I am more interested in the business side of it.

Yeah, I’d say don’t publish with the expectation that you’ll make money doing a book, but it can promote a business that you already have well.

Tucker’s course goes over all of that.

Just one published so far, called Life Lessons from Dad. I’m neck deep in the second right now, and excited about it.

Aw that's nice 32 5 star rating! I just want to ask... how long did it take you to write it? Also, is it free to sell your e-books or books in Amazon?

Oh, it is free, but Amazon charges to print and platform it per book sold. I think you keep 70% of the price...but it varies.
