How different will the world be 20 years from now?

In my opinion . . .

    1. . . . phones will be embedded in our heads.

. . . phones will be small microchips imbedded in one's skull. Perhaps a series of eye blinks will take you to the dialer or a combination of spoken words will bring up your photo gallery. The storage capacity & computing power of this device will be staggering versus today's largest and fastest.

    2. . . . genetics research will have virtually eliminated hereditary health issues.

Think: no more cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, heart disease, diabetes, kidney failure, etc.

    3. . . . drugs will be developed which will remove addictions.

Should someone be addicted to substances there will be a drug regimen to remove the addiction. Now, as to whether Big Pharma will allow those drugs to be made available . . . .

    4. . . . self driving will be a thing of the past.

Autonomous vehicles will save humankind billions of hours on the road every year. The trucking industry will be revolutionized yet will still require human workers to regulate, maintain, load & unload, and schedule the loads.

    5. . . . office space will have a resurgence as people desire more and more connection. Less work from home in 20 years.

The Millennial generation already self isolates and don't know how to carry on a conversation or stay engaged. Their attention span shrinks as they age. They will be tired of decades of solitude and want to seek out companionship even if only from workmates.

    6. . . . churches will experience growth.

See my description of number five (5).
