How to combat depression

certainly if you are having a hard time please see a medical professional. List on the Internet won’t help you if you are really in a bad state. However, a list like this helps keep the demons away.

    1. Get enough sleep

    2. Exercise every day

    3. Laugh every day

    Fail compilations on YouTube can be great for this.

    4. Don’t drink too much caffeine

    5. Sit quietly or walk quietly. Some people call this meditation. Don’t listen to music or podcasts. Just let your mind wander.

    6. Cuddle with a pet

    7. Communicate with somebody you love. If that is hard or not appropriate communicate with somebody with love.

    8. Be kind to strangers. Chat with cashiers.

    9. Try to make somebody else smile during the day.

    10. Create something for yourself. This could be music, art, a good meal, etc. Take satisfaction in the result even if it might not be professional quality.
