How to eliminate junk food in your life
Or at least reduce the amount of it.
1. Don't buy it.
BOOM. That simple.
2. Delete all the delivery apps from your phone.
3. Create a wallpaper for your phone, so it might remind you at the grocery store that you don't want to buy any bad food.
4. Even if you already bought it, have a post-it note in your kitchen with a reminder that you want to skip bad food today.
5. Live all alone by your self.
It's a stupid option, but anyway, when you are alone it's really easier to control yourself with such bad treats, cause if your partner/roommate goes for a fries or burger you might also break down and take one too.
6. Set a calories limit for day/week and chose a punishment for yourself in case you are going over the limit.
7. Remember that junk food has low nutritional value, it doesn't give you required energy.
8. Reduce alcohol consumption.
Cause usually speaking of me, I want to eat something bad when I'm a little tipsy, and my guilty factor is suppressed.
9. Switch to more healthy "junk food". Like pop corn
10. Go to bed earlier.
11. Determine what your triggers are
If you tend to eat junk food when you're bored, find a different way to occupy yourself. If you eat junk food when you're stressed, find a better way to cope with stress.
12. Give yourself a cheat day
Allow yourself to eat junk food once a week. This will help you stick to your healthy eating plan the rest of the time.
