How to live

    1. LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY

    The best way to get smarter is to challenge yourself every day. Learn something new, even if it's just one thing. Or try a new hobby. Or learn a language.

    2. EXERCISE

    We are born with 1 billion cells and we die with 1 billion cells. In between we exercise so that our body breaks down the old and builds up the new. Exercise also releases endorphins which make you happier and less depressed.

    3. SLEEP 8 HOURS A NIGHT

    Get eight hours of sleep a night or your body can't repair itself properly.

    4. THREE MEALS A DAY AND NO SNACKS

    Your body needs fuel to function so eat well and don't skip meals (this doesn't include eating disorders).

    5. DON'T SMOKE OR DRINK TOO MUCH

    I know this is obvious but worth repeating since many people ignore this advice for some reason.

    6. NETWORK BUT DON'T FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR IDEAS

    Always be networking but never fall in love with your ideas so much that you can't let them go when they are no longer useful to you or others.

    7. BE KIND TO PEOPLE AND ANIMALS BUT DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THEIR EMOTIONAL LIFE OR YOU WILL LOSE YOURSELF AND THEM TOO

    I call this "the law of three"
    When someone asks for help, help them up, when they ask for another favor, help them up again, then they will ask you to marry them
    because they have fallen in love with you
    and then you will be stuck forever helping them up over and over again while they drag you down into their emotional pit of despair until you lose yourself entirely because you were too kind
    This isn't always true but it's good advice most of the time
