Ideas for my old lady club
Nearly all the women are over 70, widowed, and have lost their shape so they are not interested in fashion, new recipes or crafting. They really don’t care about nutrition either. They need exercise and lots of it.
1. Chair yoga
Flexibility helps with balance and good Balance prevents falls And breaking bones.
2. Breathing
They need to breathe deeply and breath through their nose To get nitric oxide.
3. Weight bearing exercise
Weight bearing doesn’t have to be heavy. They can do 5 lbs.
4. Accountability
We can have all kinds of programs but they won’t go home and do the exercises so there has to be a challenge. Maybe they could sign a contract and get an award for competition.
