1. A salary negotiation workshop
In a past life, I worked as a corporate financial analyst at an international digital security company. I learned that people don't get what they deserve, they get what they negotiate.
2. How to build a following on LinkedIn/Handshake workshop
A friend of mine has built a following of 35k followers on LinkedIn. He could be a good candidate to be a speaker.
3. Networking best practices workshop
Many of our students have expressed a desire to learn more about networking. One tip would be to text/email people you haven't spoken to in a while every day to stay on top of mind.
4. Resume best practices
Too many of our students, even the really good ones, are missing the mark on their resumes. ATS keyword optimization, use of action words, and using numbers as metrics are all tips we can offer.
5. Python coding workshop
More of our students need experience in this in-demand coding language.
6. Public speaking workshop
One of the most valuable skills anyone can possess. I had such a wonderful experience with Toastmasters.
7. Entrepreneurship/small biz workshop
These days, jobs aren't reliable. We can no longer count on them for our security, safety, and health. This would be helpful to any student interested in learning about founding their own venture.
8. Financial literacy workshop
Too many people, not just our students, have no grasp of basic personal finance topics. This could serve many people, including the family members of our students.
