Imagine you're a café or restaurant owner, how would you look after your visually impaired/blind patrons?
1. Provide a list of items on the menu.
Get a Braille printer and make menus for your blind customers.2. Describe your restaurant
Describe what each table looks like, what the walls look like, what the bathroom looks like, etc. Describe the waiters and waitresses.3. "Where's the bathroom?"
"It's to the left of the bar."4. What does this look like?
"The plate has a hamburger on it with french fries and a glass of water."5. How much is that?
Give them an itemized list (in Braille) of what they ordered and how much it cost. They can check against their bill to see if they were overcharged or not.6. "I'm at table 123 in ABC Restaurant."
"Just walk straight until you hit a wall and then turn right twice and you'll be there."7. "I want to meet my friends but I can't find them."
Use Google Glass or some sort of AR glasses to show them where their friends are sitting so they can go directly there.
