    1. Is your business under-marketed?

If you're not running any paid advertising you don't have a business, you have a hobby.
And it's probably not for the reason you're thinking - Pregnant pause.
With paid marketing, you're always buying data directly from the source - the marketplace.
Businesses rely on everything else, except the marketplace, for the answers to their most pressing problems.
This is worth repeating. The only purpose any business exists is to solve a problem in the marketplace. The person that has the problem either doesn't know how to solve it or doesn't care to know how. But they have money to gift to someone who has demonstrated the ability to solve their problem at a price point they are willing and able to pay.
When you run paid ads you discover exactly which keywords are driving traffic and conversions to your landing page. It's measurable. It's predictable. It's reliable. It's scalable. It's available during a recession.
Most businesses are slaves to algorithm changes.
Most businesses believe that posting on social media is marketing.
Social media is like a fitness center. The member who pays to go to the gym but doesn't is the one who keeps the gym out of the red - not the members who are regular attendees.
The people who are seduced by the possibility of going viral or becoming instafamous on social media but don't - are the ones who support the platform not influencers.
There are 500,000 active influencers on Instagram. 54% of all influencers on Instagram are nano-influencers - anywhere from 100 to 10,000 followers, while 33% are micro-influencers - anywhere from 1,000 and 100,000 followers..BTW Instagram has 2+ billion active users, 500,000/2B is a very small number indeed.
BACK TO OUR REGULAR PROGRAMMING: It cost roughly $233,000 per second for an ad in the 2022 Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.
    Fox set a record - Over $7M for 30 Seconds - Bloomberg.
Google and Facebook/Instagram Ads are the 700lb gorillas.
    Grand Rising: TikTok Ads
Honorable Mentions: YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, Amazon, LinkedIn, and Twitter Ads.
What you can discover with paid ads in a 24-hour period would take you considerably more time using any other method of marketing and advertising.
Data can be bought for every conceivable idea your mind can conjure up.
Examples: Battery powered snow blowers, rotating car seats, glueless wigs, coverless duvets, pup cups, labor gowns, tattoo second skin, loop earplugs, migraine hats, scar tape, induction stoves, key fob covers, gainful protein, uranium glass, lash vending machines, dog surgery suit, finger sleeves, headphones for sleeping, disposable vapes, LoRa Antenna, your version of Wow Bao, ghost kitchens, rechargeable hearing aids, snap on veneers, mushroom grow kits, and a spa headbands.
Greats ads don't interrupt, instead, they meet people when they are in their buying journey.
Paid advertising is not a short-term endeavor.
You were there in the prospect said "I'm not ready yet" but the real question is whether you'll be there when the prospect says, "I'm ready, what's the next step?"

    2. Is your business underfunded?

It's difficult to market effectively if you don't have a marketing budget.
Businesses are more in love with their product or service than they are with actually marketing it.
Most businesses are legends in their own minds.
    No money - no honey.
The last item on a business to-do list is marketing if it even made it to the list.
On the low end, you can buy some good data with a $500 - $1,000 monthly ad spend.
It doesn't have to be your money but you will need some money earmarked exclusively for marketing. OPM

    3. Is your business underexposed?

Exposure marketing bridges the gap between marketing and being an unknown business. It allows your audience to get to know you, like you, and trust you before they ever get to know the specifics of your products or services.
You could have the best product or service in the world but if no one knows about you it's of little value.
Exposure helps with repeat purchases but it also helps generate new revenue.
    Exposure helps create brand awareness.
Exposure is a way to make a business stand out in the marketplace.
Underexposure makes businesses non-existent and therefore they suffer.
Greats ads don't interrupt, instead, they meet people when they are in their buying journey.
The marketing, the funding, and the exposure portions of a business support each other well especially when they are firing on all cylinders. If your business is struggling you are lacking in one or more of the above-mentioned areas guaranteed.
