About your poetry idea, I'm learning that poetry has an image problem that a needs correction. Poets pay attention to everything! Sound, rhythm, word meanings, ideas, emotions, metaphor--everything! Sometimes I find poems difficult, but Walter Mosley and other writers recommend reading a poem every day. Spoken word poetry would be a way to reach students who don't like the idea of reading it. Thanks.

It really does. I think it's getting better with more and more people referencing poems, reading them on podcasts and people like The Q Brothers or Hamilton.
