My ideas for increasing reading in high school students
Hi. Naval ( @naval) has the best advice on this subject: read what you love untile you love to read.
Let every student choose whatever they appeal to like. Even if you think it's superfluous (to me that would be sports specially local teams, 50 shades of grey, etc.)
You can learn from every book:
1. Content itself
Whatever the main message
2. Structure
What's the order to convey information
3. Character Presentation / Development
Mostly for fiction. You can draw timelines, milestones, etc.
