My qualities

I decided on making 'Don't trust your gut' my next book. Whilst reading the first chapter I came across the section that states that we date people with similar qualities to us. So I thought I'd write a list of mine, take related photos and get them uploaded to an app.

1. Creator

2. Comedian

I took up joke writing during the pandemic. I haven't stopped writing since.

3. Adventurer/traveler

I love exploring new places. I lived in China for 4 years. I've been to Japan, South Korea, America, Dubai and all over Europe.

I want to explore Italy next.

4. Reader (non fiction)

I love to read and learn new skills. I've always got a book that I'm working through (currently - don't trust your gut).

I don't like fiction. I'd rather watch a TV show than read the story.

5. Writer

I enjoy writing. I've already got one book published on amazon (The Rocco Effect - Set 1) and i'm working away on my next books.

I also write lists daily.

6. Avid learner

Hence why I read non fiction. Most podcasts I listen to share advice and knowledge to help me improve. I've recently improved my cooking skills, and I'm working on improving my ukulele and singing skills.

7. Music

My music taste is mostly ska, punk and reggae. I love gigs and will see almost any band as long as they aren't too expensive. This year I've seen 3 and hoping to see more soon.

8. Bar

I enjoy a drink with friends. Don't drink in the house (unless with others). Up the pub twice a week. Don't smoke, it's stinking.

9. Well liked

Almost everyone that knows me /of me has a nice word to say. I try my best not to make enemies and leave every situation on a happy note.

10. Happy

Others seek how to become rich and famous. I seek how to live a happier life. I may be the happiest person you have ever met.

11. Final thoughts

This doesn't come naturally. Really not good at bragging about myself. I'll work on it. As long as I'm not arrogant it will benifit me more than it hinders me.
