1. Lightning Bolt

I'm an Electrical Engineer by education, and I nickname my youngest son the Lightning Kid

2. The Number '3'

Like the song says, it's a magic number. I enjoy triathlon, and trilogies.

3. Shark Fin

My eldest is nicknamed 'Shark Boy'. I have a fascination/fear of sharks.

4. A Duck

Ducks are at home on land, in the water and in the air. I've always admired that adaptability.

5. Triple Chevron for 'The Lucky Few'

I'm not into tatoos, but some people get a triple chevron inked to indicate membership in a club known as 'The Lucky Few' - people with relatives who have Down syndrome. The 3 (there's that number again) arrows or chevrons represent the 3 copies of the 21st chromosome possessed by those with DS.
