Only the mind can be sick (2 min 37 sec read)

Psychotherapy is the ONLY form of therapy there is.
Since only the mind can be sick, only the mind can be healed.

    1. What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a special kind of therapy that helps people with their thoughts and feelings.
It focuses on the mind, which is the only place where sickness can hide, and where we can find healing.
It's really important to understand this.
When we look at the world around us, it seems real and solid.
But psychotherapy helps us question what we think is real.
It makes us curious about our own reality and helps us explore it.
No matter how we do it, the goal is the same: to change the way we see things that aren't real.
Sometimes, our minds play tricks on us, making us believe things that aren't true.
Psychotherapy helps us understand and see through these tricks, so we can feel better and see the world more clearly.

    2. In the realm of healing, psychotherapy stands alone as the primary form of therapy.

Its focus lies on the mind, the sole domain where sickness dwells and where healing can be sought.
This fundamental notion deserves our utmost attention.

    3. Yet, at first glance, it may seem contradictory.

The world we inhabit appears undeniably real, its manifestations tangible and concrete.
Nevertheless, the purpose of psychotherapy emerges: to ignite within you a curiosity about your own reality.

    4. Occasionally, you manage to embark on this journey of self-exploration without formal assistance.

Through a subtle shift in your perception of interpersonal relationships, you begin to unlock the recesses of your own mind.
However, there are instances where a more structured, prolonged alliance with an "official therapist" becomes necessary.

    5. Regardless of the path taken, the goal remains unaltered: to guide the patient in altering their perspective on the illusory nature of reality.

The illusions that masquerade as truth, the hallucinations that cloud our minds—these are the targets to be unraveled through the transformative power of psychotherapy.
