1. I don't believe the ever after has internet access.
2. I remember when keeping a string alive mattered.
3. I've had great conversations that started here about such varied topics as firefighting, blind wood turners, and collectible pens.
4. I've had at least a few "sure thing" business ventures that started here fizzle and if not die, they are at least in deep hibernation.
5. Leaving my full-time gig at the end of the year is in itself a full-time gig. No one treats the dead this poorly.
6. The winter holiday season (or maybe winter post-holiday) is a time to snuggle in and slow down for most people. If I were actually dead it would be a cake walk.
7. Instead, all I see ahead of me is a 28 yr backlist of to-dos.
8. Pro Tip: Deferred maintenance is NEVER a good idea.
9. I must still be right side up because I do worry about my lists. Just not as often.
