If I were to make this into a side hustle, I would look up how to get into magic as a profession and see what I can learn.
I'm not sure if there's an app for that but maybe there is. )
Also, if possible, find someone who did this professionally and interview them about their career path.
Here's an article about one guy who made it into the "Magic Castle" in Hollywood as a professional magician (https://www.buzzfeed.com/jessicapanser/the-secret-world-of-magic). He talks about his career trajectory . Also he mentions how important it is to have original tricks that nobody has done before.
I don't know if I have original tricks but I'll find out. If not, then perhaps this isn't for me or else maybe I should partner with someone who does have original tricks (and also has stage presence). A good book on the subject of making magic into a profession is by Joshua Jay (https://joshuajaymagic.com). He's been on all the TV shows and was featured in "The Illusionist" movie with Scarlett Johansson (and he's coming to my town next month!). He also has some good videos on YouTube such as "How To Start A Magic Business".
