Reasons not to have a cat

1. The hurk hurk hurk sound that mine is making right now as I write this

2. They only care about their own needs

3. If I were to die right here, mine would probably just come over and sit on me

4. They think that peeing on stuff is just a way of putting an ownership label on it

5. "Pet me now or I will get the sharp things out"

6. They love for you to pet them until they don't, at which point they attack

7. Did I mention hairballs?

8. And yet.... (tomorrow's list)

Interesting post about the downsides of having a cat. As someone who has had cats in the past, I can definitely relate to some of these points. However, I also believe that there are many benefits to having a cat as well, such as their ability to provide comfort and companionship. It's all about finding the right balance and understanding the responsibilities that come with pet ownership. Looking forward to reading tomorrow's list!
