Settling the Debt to Truth. (1 min 50 sec)

    1. Acknowledging the debt.

The debt owed to truth involves us letting go of our self-deceptions and false images we have held dear.

    2. The cost of illusions.

Holding onto illusions comes with a cost, in the form of inner conflict, dissatisfaction, an emotional turmoil. This debt is not monetary but psychological and spiritual in nature.

    3. A return to wholeness.

Repayment of this debt leads to a return of truth in its wholeness and the experience of profound joy.

    4. Three examples of how letting go of false beliefs can bring inner peace and liberation from self-deception.

Forgiving a Grudge: Imagine holding a grudge against someone for a long time. When you finally let go of that resentment and forgive, you feel a sense of relief and inner peace. You realize that holding onto the grudge was causing you more pain than the initial hurt.
Letting Go of Perfectionism: So you're a perfectionist, constantly striving for flawlessness in everything you do. When you realize that perfection is an unattainable illusion and start accepting your imperfections, you experience a newfound sense of freedom and self-acceptance.
Releasing Fear of Failure: Consider the fear of failure that holds you back from trying new things. When you confront this fear and let go of the need to always succeed, you become more willing to take risks and discover that failure is a valuable teacher. This shift in mindset leads to a sense of liberation from self-deception about what success truly means.
