Shed Findings
We're replacing our old shed (pre-dated our living here by at least ten years, we've been here 22+). There were a few surprises when we finished emptying it out for demolition today. Oh, not sorry to see the old shed go.

1. Old kiddie beach shovel
When our 16 year old was single digits, his 2nd favorite beach activity was making castles. Thought this was long since lost.
2. Rusty chain
Don't remember having a chain like that, but there it is.
3. Plastic sled
Used probably three times. The kid didn't like the local hills, so it got put away. Next stop...?
4. Fertilizer
That the wife bought and didn't use. Now solid. Possible use to hold a door open, but otherwise need to find the next hazardous waste disposal day.
5. Mice
Explains the holes in the back... knew they were there, but the wife wouldn't let me set traps. Used to have outdoor cats in the neighborhood that took care of such vermin.
6. Snake skin
Not sure where it came from, but found it after moving stuff.
7. Roof tiles
From when we re-did the roof about twelve years ago. Need to make an appointment for the local DPW building materials drop off day.
8. Bricks
Lots of bricks behind other stuff against the wall. Easily over twenty years old.
9. Old leaf blower attachments
For a leaf blower (or more) that we long since got rid of.
10. Holes
Several in the back of the shed (which backs to the property line and a town owned overgrown lot), which was probably Grand Central Station for the local mice. And the snake whose skin we found.
