"So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'" (Matthew 6:31) (2 min 16 sec)

    1. When we worry about basic needs like food, drink, and clothing, we are giving power to the idea that we are separate beings in a world of lack, where we must struggle to survive.

It's easy to see why we believe in scarcity when we feel separate from God, the source of all abundance.
We lack nothing because we are eternally one with the Creator.
"In God you have everything. In God you are everything" (ACIM, Workbook Lesson 182.5:3-4)
    .
The ego believes that we are alone and must fend for ourselves, leading to constant anxiety about our basic needs.
The ego's perception of lack is a distortion of reality, and Jesus is urging us to let go of this distorted thinking. Do not worry about material needs, you are abundant indeed. Align your mind with God and trust in His provision and all your needs will be met.
"For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them" (Matthew 6:32).
We are not separate from Him, and He knows our needs better than we do.
Jesus is not suggesting that we shouldn't take practical steps to meet our needs. He is advising us to let go of our worry which come from a belief in lack. When we trust in God's abundance we approach our material needs with a sense of peace, knowing that we are always provided for.
"Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
Also, as we shift our focus from material concerns to extending love, our experience of the world will naturally reflect that abundance.
"When you want only love you will see nothing else" (ACIM, T-12.VII.8:1).
    Trust in God's Providence
Release worry and trust in the abundant love of God.
We are not alone, and God is always providing for us. We need to trust in His goodness and love, rather than relying on our own efforts to secure our needs.
