    1. Lockers for Homeless people

    0

    Homeless lockers - electronic reg

    2. Prevent ODs with pre-shot

    0

Instead of waiting until someone has ODd and then giving Narcan. Let people have a shot that prevents the OD in the first place

    3. Hospital Room computer interface via QR Code

    0

They probably already have this but it seems like when someone is in the hospital the nurses log into this system that is antiquated and it takes up time while they look up meds etc

    4. Single serve tomato paste

    0

So instead of those little cans, have tomato paste by the tablespoon, maybe even the way you see ketchup or hot sauce packets

    5. Produce kits for guacamole or pico de gallo

    0

Contents: 1 onion, 1 tomato, 1 avocado, 1 jalapeno etc. So you aren't stuck with leftover produce and easy to grab in the supermarket

Great list. I wonder how #2 can work. What if you take Narcan before you take heroin? I'm assuming that's not so good but will it prevent a potential OD? Maybe people will dose higher because they think they are safer.

Thanks for the reply. Hadn't thought of that. It's definitely a consideration. It could lead to people taking more chances than they otherwise would. Still, I think if someone is taking these drugs. 1) They don't see another option and 2) The are already at a great risk. I had also heard that people would not take such a treatment as it defeats the purpose of being high. I would need to study the chemistry of this a little more.

Looks like #2 is in the works to some degree. https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/17460441.2022.2008904?cookieSet=1 "The first opioid vaccine undergoing clinical trials uses an oxycodone vaccine, is currently in Phase 1a/1b, and will conclude in December 2023 [19]."

I had talked to Lucas Spivey about this a few years ago. https://www.linkedin.com/in/lucasspivey/ and he
thought that someone would come up with something like this. And where the help might be needed is making the treatment more widely available.

This article came out recently, Covers people who might be using as a painkiller, which is probably some percent of the population who need an option. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11251333/Could-Covid-treatment-remedy-Americas-opioid-epidemic.html
