I still think I would like to try bringing a new fishing lure to market. But I keep finding new questions that prevent me from moving forward.
1. I thought I had an idea for a new design but….
Nope. It's been done. Or at least very similar.2. The market is already very crowded.
3. I honestly can’t see what sets most of them apart from each other.
Virtually every major lure manufacturer has designs that appear to just be copied from another. They all seem to be roughly equally effective.4. It’s said most fishing lures are designed to catch fishermen, not fish.
5. How does one enter such a market?
6. Paint or hammered finish?
9. Is the market truly overcrowded, or is it a matter always room for more variety?
