Ten stocks I wish I owned

I love reading about stocks, writing about them, and, of course, buying them. Here's some I wish I owned (this is not a list of recommendations, please do not take this as advice; maybe further investigation?):

Ten stocks I wish I owned
Preview

    1. Waste Management

Had some great past performance, and I would have to assume that will go on into the future given the type of industry it is in.

    2. PepsiCo

I own KO, but sometimes I wish I owned both of these major beverage companies. With PEP, you get the diversification of snacks.

    3. Costco

I just read about COST and its special-dividend payments. Didn't know the company did that every so often. I wish more companies would do that.

    4. PENN

A somewhat speculative stock (in my opinion), but I think its recent price action has been interesting.

    5. Microsoft

Oh, I really wish I had this one. I used to own it years ago. Then, money issues and the like (some impatience, too; it's actually hard to buy a stock when one is young and then hold to retirement, surprisingly; it's not boredom per se, but there are so many other stocks to buy or you need the cash back). But if you held on when it was range-trading for some long time (was it years?) and starting a dividend payment, kept adding, reinvested dividends, maybe sell some covered calls along the way, you would be very, very happy today.

    6. Nvidia

Don't know much about it...just that I should own it.

    7. Carvana

Have you seen the recent short-squeeze on this? Come on...we all wish we had this one!

    8. American Tower

Great REIT. I do own O and used to own this one, but again, some money stuff. Seems like a solid long-term idea. (Maybe)

    9. Mercadolibre

Of course I wish I owned this many, many points ago and when it was hot and growing, but if you caught the lower end of the 52-week range this time around, you are doing well.

    10. Something in oil

I don't have one off the cuff right now to specifically mention, never really was an energy investor (right now, I own TSLA for a green-energy play), but I know oil has done well in this inflationary environment.

There you have it. All off the top of my head, I have no idea how accurate my little commentaries are. Do your own research. Wish I was a better investor and had saved more money. (One thing that sidetracked me was depression that made me buy a lot of expensive video games from the past, still sealed, I really got distracted by that; trying to unwind all that; happy investing/trading, best of luck!)

P.S. I just tried the image generator for the first time, seriously anyway, and that is the best I can do; I guess it is supposed to be New York, and imply Wall Street? Not sure. My input words: Stocks Wall Street
