Over forty years since I graduated.

Seeing pictures... remember having them and only them. They sell repro pay phones, and if we had non-VOIP phone service, might get one.

He's 18.

My musical tastes are older than the "oldies" when I was a kid.

Yeah, they've come back, but I feel old because I went from vinyl to CD to digital and now the old ways are coming back. Way more expensive, of course.

I remember when you could buy a game (C-64, IYKYK), and while you didn't technically own it, you weren't forced into upgrading or paying a monthly fee. Upgrades / expansions were when you wanted them. As were the "tip books" for when you got stuck. And, you could save your game to try something, restore it to where it was when you f'ed up, and try again.

Used to be fairly flexible. Now, not so much so. Plus I wear my glasses to make sure I don't hack myself up.
