The Ego Declares

1. I've had it with all of these people.

This statement implies others are wrong and I'm right.

It also implies separation.

It also says that I am the victim.

It makes me the good guy and of course, everyone else is the bad guy.

2. I've done nothing wrong to any of them.

This statement implies that I am innocent.

Poor me. Look at what the world has done to me.

If I believe that I'm innocent must there also be an opportunity for others to be innocent too?

3. I've only been nice and welcomed them into my life.

My life is so sacred and special that you should be honored that I invited you to be a part of it.

I'm perfect. I only do nice things for and to other people.

The world is being mean to me.
