The Ego's House of Cards. (1 min 26 sec)

Preview

    1. The egoic construct is like a three-legged stool with no substance, crumbling under the weight of inquiry.

    Inquiry 1: "Who am I?"
The ego's answer is that you are a separate individual, distinct from others and from God. However, you are not a body or ego, but rather an eternal spirit, one with the Creator and all of creation. Inquiring into your true nature as a divine being exposes the ego's lie of separateness, causing it to collapse.
Inquiry 2: "What is the root of my suffering?"
The ego claims that suffering comes from external sources – other people, circumstances, etc. The root of all suffering is the ego's thought system of judgment, attack, and grievances. By inquiring into forgiveness and letting go of grievances, the ego's need for conflict and "enemies" is undermined.
    Inquiry 3: "What is real?"
The ego is built on the belief that the physical world and bodies are real. The world of form is an illusion, and only the eternal, formless realm of spirit is real. Inquiring into the unreality of the physical world pulls the rug out from under the ego's entire conceptual framework.
