The lies we tell about money

    1. This is what I really look like

    0

I use money to not make my hair look curly and wild.

Everyone uses money to change their looks in different ways.

    2. My life is valuable because I wear these clothes, drive this car and live in this house

    0

    Social status.

Your self worth comes from inside, not stuff.

    3. I love you X much

    0

A lot of people believe that money shows just how much you love someone.

I am not the best gift-giver. I prefer spending time with someone and asking them personal questions.

    4. I went to X school so I smart

    0

The school that you attended has nothing to do with your intellect.

    5. I can never retire

    0

Most of the millennials I have interacted with believe that they will never have enough money to retire.

If you make a plan for it, retirement is definitely possible.

    6. Money is too complicated, I need a professional to manage it

    0

Money really is not very complicated. There is nothing wrong with having help with it, but you need to be the one driving the car.

Thank you for sharing this post. I completely agree that our self worth should not be tied to material possessions or how much money we have. It's important to focus on the things that truly matter in life, such as spending time with loved ones and building meaningful relationships. Money can be a tool to enhance our lives, but it should never define who we are as individuals. Keep spreading this important message!
