1. Big Self.
The Big Self transcends individuality and is a universal aspect of reality. Boundaries between self and other, subject and object, vanish within the Big Self. All beings find their unity within the embrace of the Big Self. Individual identity, ego, and personal distinctions fade in the vast expanse of consciousness.
2. Little Self.
In contrast, the Little Self is the personal self. It forges a sense of separateness and individual identity. The Little Self's existence is marked by personal thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and experiences. It perceives itself as distinct from others and the external world.
3. Recognizing the interplay between these two selves leads to a deeper understanding of our place in the world.
Our journey involves moving beyond the limitations of the Little Self to connect with the expansive consciousness of the Big Self, ultimately leading to a sense of unity, compassion, and interconnectedness with all of existence.
