Things to consider when moving cities

1. School system
Even if you don't have kids. The better the school system, usually the safer the area.
2. Job Growth
Does the area have the type of business and job growth in the industries I am interested in?
3. Taxes
Local, State, and Property. For example, I found out that Florida, while having no state taxes, has double the property taxes of the state I currently live in. I would save money on Taxes by moving there, but it isn't as much as it seems, assuming you own your home.
4. Cost of Living
What do you get for your money? Taxes factor into this, of course.
5. Health
Of those around you. And the healthcare available to you.
6. Weather
Depends what you like.
7. Crime
No one wants to live in a high crime area.
8. Freedom
Corona virus responses changed where people want to live. Abortion rules are changing where people want to live. Marijuana, Alcohol, and Tobacco rules are changing where people want to live. Another reason I'm considering Colorado. The democratic Governor went against his party on the Rona Response. I don't want an abortion and I don't use drugs, but I don't want someone telling me what I can and cannot do.
9. Retirement or Career
Could move for both reasons or it's just a temporary play.
10. Family
What's best for you and your family? Should be #1.
