Some may find these recommendations a bit excessive. Good sleep is very important to me.

    1. Go to the doctor and get a prescription for sleeping pills

    Also: Find out if the lack of sleep is caused by a health problem

    2. If possible, cancel tasks that require concentration

    Instead, do some routine tasks

    3. Is there an opportunity to take a nap during the day?

    4. If your sleep has been disturbed by noise or other environmental influences, is there anything you can do about it?

    5. Coffee or other caffeinated drinks after midday would disrupt your sleep the following night

    6. Go to sleep as early as possible today
