Time For Thoughts
1. Learning
Trading your time for learning a specific task, takes from your time of thinking.
2. Reading + Writing
I've noticed the best times when I think are reading and taking notes. This somehow allows for more room in the mind. Which also
3. Morning Vs. Evening
Working first thing in the morning does offer more productivity. Yet the trade off doesn't seem as beneficial long term. Reading and ideas in the morning seems to have a net positive effect on the rest of the day.
4. Time Runaway
( I haven't read Ed Myletts book. . . yet)
It seems whatever you do in the morning acts almost like a catalyst to your time. Whatever you spend your time doing in the morning (work, reading, Fing off) speeds up that activity and spills into the rest of your day
5. Push Back
Could be a part of time runaway. Whatever you start in the moring, without a limit, pushes back all other activites to the end of the day. ie IDEAS not good.
6. Gives Perspective
I think overall switching the time you normally do things gives you a better real life perspective on how and what you spend your time on
7. Stress
Like #6, it also gives you a good idea on how well you handle stress.
8. Measure
Switching your time aslo gives you a measure to then change.
