Tips when publishing a book (KDP)

After working on my second book I've came across a few step backs. These are things worth looking out for before you start.

    1. Writing is the easiest part

Writing your thoughts down is the easiest part. Do it daily. Write more than you need. Then you can edit and simplify s so only the best is included.

    2. Page sizes

I failed here with both of my books. Reformatting to a new page size, after writing screws everything up. Make sure your page size is the size you want your book to be, before writing. It'll save you a lot of hassle in the future.

    3. Borders

If your using images be aware of borders. I wasn't and had to redo every single page. I suggest doing the minimum no. Uploading then making adjustments before moving forward.

    4. Take a break

When writing a break can help your subconscious process your thoughts and you'll come back with better content next time you sit down to write. FormationHaving a finished text, but having to tweek it over and over again will make you angry. Take breaks to make sure you don't snap.

Formation is annoying. Do it write from the start, if possible.

    5. Don't give up

It's easy to give up at any stage. Focus on the end results and keep pushing on. You're learning a little more each step of the way. Next time you write it'll be easier.
