I've loved The Prophet ever since I was a kid. Read it over and over again. Moby-Dick was hard for me to read. Tried to read it in...1994 I think. And just couldn't.
The Prophet i found to be such a non-preachy book that limned out a joyful sense of this confounding existence. Moby Dick has that archaic language but it has that truth at all costs message. Thanks for the response.
Kris, its a book of persian poetry. Deals with the intersection of life and divinity. Kinda like a " dont aweat the small stuff " but in beautiful prose. Often the translated copies have aumptious engravings within the covers
