1. Untruths become deeply ingrained in our belief systems and we hang on these beliefs as tenaciously as we do religion.
2. We invest faith and commitment in untruths, akin to religious devotion, even when we are continuously faced with contrary evidence.
3. Untruths have their own set of dogmas and rituals, the same as religious practices that followers adhere to fervently.
