WHAT airport am I flying into?
Every international airport (AFAIK) has a unique 3 letter code assigned to it by the IATA. Some are fairly obvious, like ATL (Atlanta, GA). Others are less obvious but popular enough that most travelers would recognize it, EWR (Newark, NJ). But then you have the obscure, or downright unfortunate:
Yuma, AZ. Is all that sand tasty?
Ile Ouen, New Caledonia
Perm, Russia. If you flew Aeroflot to get there, then yeah, you probably do.
Funafuti, Tuvalu. Must be a great place. Just typing it had me cracking up.
Willow, Alaska. Not so much.
Butler Airport, Missouri
Fresno Air Terminal, Fresno CA. At least this one makes perfect sense.
Leftofar, Mauritania. Maybe you need to come back right some to get to
Da Nang, Vietnam.
