Ideas Post

What are must-read books you'd recommend to someone in their 20s?

Just a bunch of books I like.

    1. Books they find interesting

I want to end it here but I like this idea. So these are the books I found interesting in my 30's. I didn't like reading in my 20s.

    2. Style Statement by Carrie McCarthy and Danielle Laporte

I actually think I read about this in the magazine Blueprint while I was in college. These two women help you label your aesthetic. Your vibe. They say to narrow it down to about 2 words. I came up with Classically Curious. I think I might take out the Classically at this point but I am not sure what I would replace it with. Maybe I need to re read it.

    3. The Artist's Way By Julia Cameron

LOVE THIS. I also think I read this in my 20's. I think I want to re read it again.

    4. Choose Yourself by James Altucher

I think I was 29 when I read this. Ok.. so didn't read the whole thing I read the first few pages. I got the jist of it and It got me on the right path.

    5. Drawing on the right side of your brain by Betty Edwards

If you want to surprise yourself with how well you can draw.

    6. How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big by Scott Adams

Yup. I would like to re read this.

    7. Meet Your Happy Chemicals by Loretta Graziano Breuning

It's not called this anymore. It changed the way I thought about ups and downs in life.

    8. Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer

    Fantastic!

    9. Fifty Inventions that Shaped the Modern World by Tim Harford

It might be one of my favorite books EVER!

    10. The Know it all by A.J.Jacobs

It might encourage you to do your own random and odd challenges. It has totally inspired me over the years.
