What are the 10 ways to keep work-life balance in Hybrid work model?

Since COVID-19, employees prefer the Hybrid work model due to flexibility. However, research shows it can impact your mental health. How you keep work-life balance?

    1. Don't check email first thing in the morning

    2. Don't answer phone calls first thing in the morning

    3. Do something creative first thing in the morning

    4. Eat breakfast

    5. Sleep 7-8 hours a day

    6. Exercise at least 3 times a week. The most important time to exercise is Saturday or Sunday morning before you start your weekend. In order for exercise to be effective, it has to be consistent and regular so your body gets used to it and

    And don't eat after 7pm on Friday night (or 9pm if you are older). This will make your body adjust so by Monday morning you will have enough energy to start a new week without needing coffee.

    I don't do this one as much as I should but I've noticed when I do, my work performance is better that week because of increased energy and focus.

    This is also why there's a stigma against people who take "mental health days". People think they are just trying to skip work but often they need the rest because their bodies aren't getting what they need to function properly during the week and then they need extra rest on weekends to catch up with themselves.

    When people say "you only live once" it's true if you are not taking care of yourself properly during this life!

    But even if you do all these things, sometimes it won't be enough because...
    -you might get thrown into an unexpected situation where you can't control anything, like a layoff or divorce or death of a loved one, etc . But if you do these things regularly it will help keep balance in your life no matter what happens around you .
