What are the most inspirational things you find about Islam?
As a Christian my knowledge of Islam is academic and superficial at best. These are some of the things that I find inspirational.
1. Salah (Prayer)

Devout Muslims pray 5 times a day, at specific times. This simple act of making the time and showing the willingness of openly praying shows strength and commitment.
2. Pilgrimage

Although I realize that many Muslims never make the Hajj, such an expansive undertaking fills me with awe whenever I stop and consider all that it entails.
3. History & Tradition

It seems that much of the theology that is Christendom has been changed and molded over the centuries. While this shows growth, it also seems to lose something. To this outside observer, it seems that Islam has been able to remain much truer to the teachings of the Quaran and the Hadith.
