What are things you can’t go without?
1. My watch
Time is our most valuable resource.
2. My headphones
They allow me to listen to the latest podcasts and audiobooks when I'm on the train or have some free time.
3. Books/Library Card
Both physical and digital. Technically two items.
4. My electric scooter
Man, it's so much fun to ride.
5. My phone
Sadly, it's very difficult to function without it. I've tried going without it for extended periods of time, but going without one makes life very difficult. It's like swimming against the tide. For example.....my monthly subscription to the Long Island Rail Road is only available for purchase on a smartphone, which means I must have my phone (and it must be charged) to present to the conductor to board the train.
6. Walks in Nature
It's a balm for the soul.
7. My journal
I've written in it pretty much every day for the last 3-4 years.
8. A bed
9. Some clothing
Now that it's getting cold, I really love my Under Armour cold gear. It's like a second skin that keeps me warm even in freezing temps. My overcoat is another vital winter item.
