What books changed how you think?

The books that have changed my thinking are a mix of:
- Entrepreneurship books
- Fitness/Nutrition books
- Personal Development

    1. 7 habits of Highly Effective people

This was my first major read on Personal development. What I love most about this book is 99% of the ideas on this book are “timeless principles” that can be applied anywhere:

    - Be Proactive
    - Begin with the End in Mind
    - Put First things First
    - Think Win-Win
    - Seek first to understand, then to be understood
    - Synergize
    - Sharpen the saw

    2. Fat for Fuel - Dr. Mercola

Dr. Mercola wrote this book to help people "burn fat for fuel", which is not just beneficial for the physical body but mentally.

    3. $100M offers - Alex Hormozi

If there’s any book that has made waves in the marketing world from the previous year to this year – it’s $100M offers.

Alex would help you transform your business from “price-driven” to “value-driven” which allows you to differentiate yourself from the market place.

Key take away - learn to create "Grand Slam Offers."

    4. The Monk who sold his Ferrari - Robin Sharma

What happens when the most “egoistic” coupled with “workaholic” person you know change and start being more loving & present?

Most times they have to EXPERIENCE this moment themselves to share their message.

You now find them pursuing more meaning and purpose - exactly what happened to Robin Sharma's Mentor.

    5. E-myth revisited - Michael Gerber

Learn how to work on your business not just in your business.

Michael Gerber breaks the myth that most people who start small businesses are entrepreneurs.

The author emphasized why great businesses stop focusing on selling “products” but fulfilling emotional needs.

    6. 4-Hour week - Tim Ferris.

Want to escape your 9-5? Stop being busy for the sake of being “busy.” You don’t have to wait until the end of your career to chase your dreams.

From this book I learned to redefine: “Lazy,” “Rich,” “Working smart,” “Fear, "comfort.”

“What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.”
    ― Timothy Ferriss

    7. Shoe Dog - Phil Knight

I still know people who believe that you need to be born into a rich family, attend expensive schools so you can gain networks to become a successful business person.

While you could see some of these in the Phil Knight’s story (Stanford Graduate, well-to-do Father), it was not what was responsible for his success.

His Pursuit of destiny through travelling, getting out of his comfort zone & taking risks along with some discipline, persistence and consistence was what was responsible for building Nike from a small startup to a billion dollar shoe giant.

    8. Love yourself like your life depends on it - Kamal Ravikant

I loved the audiobook. It was from this book I first heard of @JamesAltucher blog.

This is one of the books where the title alone gets you hooked and you expect nothing less.

The secret of this book is that love makes it difficult to experience fear.

    9. Atomic Habits - James Clear

I've never read a book that talks about the value of habits, goals & systems like this book.

If you haven’t read a book on forming habits before, read this book.

    10. Principles - Ray Dalio

This book teaches how to be radically open-minded, understand that people are wired differently and learn how to make decisions effectively.

    Key take away:

5-Step process to getting what you want out of life:
    -Set clear goals.
    -Identify and don't tolerate problems
    -Diagnose the problem's root cause.
    - Design a plan
    - Execute
