What chores did you do as a kid?

1. Washing the dishes or drying up

No dishwashers back then!

2. Shopping for food at the weekend

When I was old enough I would go to the market with a list. Until then I went with my Dad on a Saturday.

3. Helping in the garden

Again, with my Dad. Until I was older and then I had tidying up jobs to do.

4. Washing the car

5. Dusting

6. Dead heading the roses

7. Straightening the tassels on the rug!

8. Bringing in the washing off the line
