What I Took Away from the Design Your Life course
Today I finished the Design Your Life course offered by Creative Live. I highly recommend this course. This course taught me tools and techniques to “better access my capacious self” as the two instructors said. Following are some of the things I learned.

1. How to use energy mapping to understand which tasks I need to manage
If I look at the tasks I have in a normal week and map how my energy is affected, I can minimize the tasks that drain energy by changing the location or the sequence (by moving it between high energy tasks).
2. How to test out different life options with small steps (by prototyping)
Prototyping by learning more, interviewing others who have taken that path, or any action that will help you answer questions you have about the path
3. How to make decisions using EQ & IQ
Rather than deciding completely using data, the course gave me tools to understand how to check my gut feelings about a decision.
4. When you make a decision - Let Go and Move On (no agonizing)
I cannot tell you how much time I’ve wasted on agonizing on whether I’ve made a good decision.
