1. My best mate Brendan who died of cancer at 42 he taught me to appreciate life also got me to be self aware and see other points of view
2. Mr Mack my English teacher in Secondary School open and honest it made him a target for the bad kids , but he was a true compassionate Human Being
3. Sue my lecturer on a Business course she was such a good mentor I will never forget her kindness and the fact she wanted the best for all her students
4. Yvonne a counsellor who helped me through a difficult time, she was effective because it wasn't an act she really cared
5. Bill a much older work colleague his ability to tease banter in the office was legendary but he had such a good heart. Deep down there was a code of honour and yes he could be cutting in his humour it was never down right mean.
6. Ralph a headmaster at our rural school, he was brought up in an industrial town but came to run a school in our village. He loved the countryside and the people who worked and lived in it
7. My Nana she lived in a large house on her own, was independent and yet so hospitable. She never had a bad word to say about anybody and even though she lived on her own the house was never empty there was always someone visiting
8. James Altucher he has made vulnerability and being open about it super power. Also hes not afraid to share his ideas for free.
